Wandering Moth Jewelry is dedicated to crafting quality pieces and honoring an honest environment in how your jewels arrive to you. While it is not always possible to meet every client personally, know that there is a gal on the end of this crafting how her hearts desires. All of Wandering Moth Jewelry pieces are hand-crafted using hand tools and a yearning to learn all ways in which metal will wield under those tools to share with those of you willing to share in the journey. Wandering Moth is a calling to home.
While we take pride in carefully crafting jewelry that is meant to be enjoyed, travelled with, lived in, and well worn. Sometimes our pieces need some repair or maintenance after life has given us. Please send word!
Custom pieces cannot be returned. As questions arise, please feel free to ask all of them. We will answer as best as possible, a photo always helps and we we will continue to strive for an enjoyable outcome for all parties. Due to the nature of custom orders, a deposit is required before beginning production. I appreciate the stories shared, the kind words and inspiration shared to lend itself to our final offerings. I will always respond within a reasonable timeframe of incoming messages. Please be patient with me as I would rather be 'smithing.
It is recommended to confirm appropriate ring sizes before placing orders as all sales are final. Due to the intimate nature of jewelry please contact before sending anything back. I would rather you be happy with your purchase and I am here to help.
Items shipped that arrive defective or in need of repair may be returned within a week after arrival and can be returned for repair free of charge. Please contact me immediately before sending anything back.
Any items in need of repair after the week window will incur repair fees.
Silver naturally oxidizes and tarnishes and can be returned back to its shine with a polishing cloth. Please avoid wearing jewelry with set stones in water (swimming, washing dishes, ocean, bathing, etc.) which may cause damage to stone. Softer stones such as Turquoise, Amber and Lapis will naturally darken over time when exposed to the elements. Soft stones are prone to be porous and absorb the elements they are exposed to.
Adjust bangles and open rings gently and never bend open, as repeated bending of the metal will cause a weak spot and can cause breakage. This is not considered normal wear and tear and will incur repair fees.
If any piece requires repair within 30 days of purchase will not incur repair fees. After this window, there will be a fee dependent on materials and the extent of the repair. Please contact thewanderingmoth@gmail.com
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the box it was recieved in. Please contact WM directly before sending items.
Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items (if applicable)
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be returned.
Shipping
Due to the small nature of Wandering Moth Studio shipping times vary. Please allow two to four weeks of shipment. One of a kind pieces are ready to ship and will ship within a week and made to order pieces are made upon sale. Please allow 2-3 months production time. If you need your pieces by a specific date please let me know prior to order and I will try to accommodate those needs. Please remember, WM is a sole proprietorship and appreciative of all enquiries.
Upon order completion, all orders are shipped via Canada Post and within Canada ship free. Faster shipping options are available for a small fee. A confirmation email will be sent with a tracking number once your order has been shipped.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non refundable.
If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
