Growth of trees can be marked by the concentric rings found in the core.  This is not the knowledge these Ancient beings posess.  Their knowledge comes to us when we stand in harmony among them.  Feeling the breeze swaying the tops, hearing the sound through the boughs.  To know the lessons of the Elders one must sit with them.  Appreciate all that is.  

It doesn't matter how long you've been on this Earth, trees posess a knowledge we as humans can only begin to understand.  I urge you to find some trees and seek this power and until then,  protect our old growths.
